Korsak Chairasmisak, the vice chairman of CP All, at that time was its CEO.{{cite news|last1=Polkuamdee| first1=Nuntawun|title='I didn't know about Makro deal,' insists CP All chief|url=https://www.bangkokpost.com/archive/i-didn-t-know-about-makro-deal-insists-cp-all-chief/784481|accessdate=31 January 2018|work=Bangkok Post|date=4 December 2015|url-access=subscription }} He bought over 118,000 shares of Siam Makro (the company is now known as CP Axtra), a cash-and-carry chain, over a 12-day period ending on 22 April 2013. The following day, CP All announced a tender offer for Siam Makro shares at 15 percent above the 22 April close. The regulator found that Korsak had prior knowledge of the deal and imposed a fine of over 30 million baht (US$833,000).{{cite news|title=CP All shares slump after insider trading fines|url=https://www.bangkokpost.com/archive/cp-all-shares-slump-after-insider-trading-fines/783981|accessdate=31 January 2018|work=Bangkok Post|agency=Bloomberg News|date=3 December 2015|url-access=subscription }} Three executives also involved were fined 3.1 million baht.{{cite web|title=Settlement Committee imposes fines on MAKRO insider trading|url=http://www.sec.or.th/en/Pages/News/Detail_News.aspx?tg=NEWS&lg=en&news_no=131&news_yy=2015|website=The Securities and Exchange Commission (Thailand)|accessdate=26 December 2015|date=2015-12-02|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20151227041839/http://www.sec.or.th/en/Pages/News/Detail_News.aspx?tg=NEWS&lg=en&news_no=131&news_yy=2015|archive-date=27 December 2015|url-status=dead}} No criminal charges were brought.
