Cadfarch is a community a few miles to the south and southeast of Machynlleth in Powys (previously Montgomeryshire) in Wales. The community's western and southern border is with the neighbouring county of Ceredigion, while the northwest corner touches Gwynedd.

"Cadfarch" is also the name of a 6th-century Welsh saint{{Cite web|title=Custom report - Nomis - Official Labour Market Statistics|url=https://www.nomisweb.co.uk/reports/localarea?compare=W04000258|access-date=2021-07-26|website=www.nomisweb.co.uk}} and the church at Penegoes is dedicated to him.
