{{Infobox_gene}}

Calmegin, also known as CLGN, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the CLGN gene.{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: CLGN calmegin| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=1047}} Calmegin is also present in other animals including mice.{{cite journal | vauthors = Watanabe D, Yamada K, Nishina Y, Tajima Y, Koshimizu U, Nagata A, Nishimune Y | title = Molecular cloning of a novel Ca(2+)-binding protein (calmegin) specifically expressed during male meiotic germ cell development | journal = J. Function

Calmegin is a testis-specific endoplasmic reticulum chaperone protein. CLGN may play a role in spermatogeneisis and infertility.
