The captopril suppression test (CST) is a non-invasive medical test that measures plasma levels of aldosterone.{{cite journal |vauthors=Agharazii M, Douville P, Grose JH, Lebel M |title=Captopril suppression versus salt loading in confirming primary aldosteronism |journal=Hypertension |volume=37 |issue=6 |pages=1440–3 |date=June 2001 |pmid=11408392 |doi= 10.1161/01.hyp.37.6.1440|url=http://hyper.ahajournals.org/cgi/pmidlookup?view=long&pmid=11408392|doi-access=free }}

Aldosterone production is suppressed by captopril through the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system. CST results are used to assist in the diagnososis of primary aldosteronism (Conn syndrome).
