Carbrook Hall is a historic house in Sheffield, England. Located in the Carbrook district of the city, the original building was owned by the Blunt family from 1176.{{NHLE |num=1246476 |desc=Carbrook Hall Public House |access-date=1 January 2006}} This was rebuilt in 1462, and was bought by Thomas Bright (Lord of the manor of Ecclesall) in the late 16th century.{{cite web|url=http://www.carbrookhall.co.uk/gohist/html |title=The History |publisher=Carbrook Hall Public House |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20070816082354/http://www.carbrookhall.co.uk/gohist.html |archive-date=16 August 2007}} His descendant, John Bright, was an active Parliamentarian during the English Civil War, and the building was used as a Roundhead meeting place during the siege of Sheffield Castle. The Bright family continued to play a prominent role in Sheffield, however, by the end of the eighteenth century the gentry line had died out. Writing in 1819 Joseph Hunter, a minister and antiquarian from Sheffield wrote "the hall at Carbrook...has been deserted by its owners for more than a century but still retains traces of its former consequence".{{Cite book |last=Hunter |first=Joseph |title=Hallamshire: The History and topography of the parish of Sheffield in the County of Yorkshire |publisher=Lackington, Hughes, Harding Mayor and Jones |year=1819 |location=London |page=[https://books.google.com/books?id=QCE2AAAAQAAJ&pg=PA251 251] |language=}}

Most of the building was demolished in the 19th century, what survives is a Grade II* listed stone wing that was added {{circa|1620}}.{{cite book|last1=Harman |first1=R. |last2= Minnis |first2= J. |year=2004|title=Pevsner City Guides: Sheffield |pages=202–203 |publisher=New Haven & London: Yale University Press|isbn=0-300-10585-1}}

In recent times, the building served as a public house. Planning permission was granted in November 2018 to turn the building into a Starbucks drive-through and coffeehouse.{{cite news|url=https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/stabucks-to-open-cafe-and-drive-thru-at-haunted-sheffield-pub-after-plans-approved-1-9468374|title=Stabucks to open cafe and drive-thru at 'haunted' Sheffield pub after plans approved|access-date=29 November 2018|work=The Star}} The original features of the building, such as plaster mouldings and wood panelling, were retained.
