Carl Bailey (born April 23, 1958) is an American former basketball. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he attended Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. He was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 3rd round (66th overall pick) of the 1980 NBA draft{{cite news |author1=John Reimer |title='Val,' 'Rah Rah' also selected |url=https://www.newspapers.com/image/256604317/ |access-date=17 March 2022 |work=The Montgomery Advertiser |date=11 June 1980 |page=21}} but was waived before the start of the season. He spent the 1980–1981 season with the Alberta Dusters and was selected to the All-CBA Second Team{{cite web |title=Carl Bailey minor league basketball statistics |url=https://www.statscrew.com/minorbasketball/stats/p-bailecar001 |website=Stats Crew |access-date=February 20, 2025}} before signing again with the Sonics in June 1981.
