Carol Boyd Hallett ({{nee|Boyd}}; born October 16, 1937) is an American executive, former politician, and government official. A Republican, she served in the California State Assembly from the 29th district from 1976 to 1982 and served as the assembly's minority leader from 1978 to 1981.{{cite web |last1=Vassar |first1=Alex |last2=Meyer |first2=Shane |title=Carol Hallett |url=https://www.joincalifornia.com/candidate/2845 |website=JoinCalifornia |access-date=16 February 2025}} She was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in 1982 but was defeated by Democratic candidate Leo T. McCarthy.
