Early life and education
Cassandra Jenkins was born into a musical New York family. Before the age of 12, she toured with her family band playing folk music at festivals. She is the older sister of Reid Jenkins in the band Morningsiders.
Jenkins graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2006, where she studied visual arts.
