Cassils is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within the County of Newell.{{AltaML}} It is located on the north side of a Canadian Pacific rail line {{convert|2.9|km|mi|abbr=on}} west of the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 542.{{cite web|url=https://newell.civicweb.net/Documents/DocumentList.aspx?ID=16906 |title=County of Newell Council Meeting, Thursday, November 8, 2012 (agenda) |publisher=County of Newell |page=48 |date=November 8, 2012 |access-date=December 8, 2012 }}{{dead link|date=November 2016 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} It is {{convert|10|km|mi|abbr=on}} west of the City of Brooks and {{convert|7.5|km|mi|abbr=on}} south of the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1).
