Three apparently related enclosures are identified within the site of Casterley Camp. Stock control and religious functions have been attributed to the enclosures. There is also an Iron Age/Romano-British trackway on the west side of the site, with traces of earth banks on both sides. The site is a scheduled monument.{{National Heritage List for England|num=1010074|desc=Casterley Camp and associated monuments|access-date=28 August 2020}}
There are public footpaths and bridleways to the north and west of the site. Since 1898, land immediately west and south has been part of the Salisbury Plain firing ranges.{{cite web|author-last1=Baggs|author-first1=A.P.|year=1975|editor-last=Crittall|editor-first=Elizabeth|title=Victoria County History: Wiltshire: Vol 10 pp159-173 – Parishes: Upavon|url=https://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/wilts/vol10/pp159-173|access-date=28 August 2020|website=British History Online|publisher=University of London|author-first3=Ralph B.|author-first4=Janet H.|author-last4=Stevenson|author-first5=Margaret|author-last5=Tomlinson|author-last2=Crowley|author-first2=D.A.|author-last3=Pugh}}
