Articles relating to the Kriegsmarine (1935-1945), the navy of Nazi Germany. It superseded the Imperial German Navy of the German Empire (1871–1918) and the inter-war {{lang|de|Reichsmarine}} (1919–1935) of the Weimar Republic. The {{lang|de|Kriegsmarine}} was one of three official branches, along with the {{lang|de|Heer}} and the {{lang|de|Luftwaffe}}, of the {{lang|de|Wehrmacht}}, the German armed forces from 1935 to 1945.
