Cecil Keeling

Cecil Keeling (1912-1976) was an English designer and illustrator.{{cite web |title=Cecil Keeling, 1912-1976 |url=https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/collections/collections-online/people/item/1996-6628 |website=London Transport Museum |publisher=London Transport Museum |access-date=4 January 2021 |language=en}} He produced a varied range of work, including scraperboard, lithography and linocuts as well as a number of wood engravings.
Keeling was born in Teddington, Middlesex.{{cite web |title=Artist Details: Cecil Keeling |url=https://www.vincentgbarlow.co.uk/artist_detail.php?action=showForArtist&id=484 |website=www.vincentgbarlow.co.uk |publisher=Vincent G Barlow |access-date=4 January 2021}} He first attended Putney School of Art (1930–34). Then, whilst working for a printing company, he spent a year at Chelsea School of Art.
In 1947 his book Pictures of Persia was published by Robert Hale Ltd.
