Ceraea

Ceraea or Keraia ({{langx|grc|Κεραία}}), also known as Cerea or Kerea (Κερέα),{{Cite Stephanus|s.v. Βήνη}} Ceraeae or Keraiai (Κεραῖαι), was a town of ancient Crete. It is mentioned by Polybius,{{Cite Polybius|4.53.6}} and minted coins similar to those of Polyrrhenia in antiquity.
The site of Ceraea is tentatively located near modern Meskla.{{Cite Barrington|60}}{{Cite DARE|28799}}
