According to the Book of Mormon, a sacred text of the Latter Day Saint movement, Cezoram ({{IPAc-en|s|iː|ˈ|z|ɔːr|ə|m}})[http://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/scriptures/bofm/pronunciation?lang=eng churchofjesuschrist.org: "Book of Mormon Pronunciation Guide"] (retrieved 2012-02-25), IPA-ified from «sē-zōr´um» was the eighth Nephite chief judge (c. 30 BC). In the 62nd year of the reign of the judges, or 30 BC, Nephi, son of Helaman, gave up the judgement seat and thence devoted himself to spreading the gospel.{{Sourcetext|source=Book of Mormon|version=1981|book=Helaman|chapter=5|verse=1|range=}} Four years later, in 26 BC, Cezoram was murdered by the Gadianton robbers. His son replaced him, but was murdered also.{{Sourcetext|source=Book of Mormon|version=1981|book=Helaman|chapter=6|verse=15|range=}} After that, the government fell into the hands of those robbers,{{Sourcetext|source=Book of Mormon|version=1981|book=Helaman|chapter=6|verse=38|range=-39}} and it is not known what happened with the judgement-seat until Nephi came back to call the people to repentance.{{Sourcetext|source=Book of Mormon|version=1981|book=Helaman|chapter=8|verse=27}} (Cezoram is distinct from the similarly named Gadianton robber Seezoram.)
