The Chère ({{IPA|fr|ʃɛʁ|-|LL-Q150 (fra)-Pamputt-chère.wav}}; {{langx|br|Kaer}}) is a {{convert|65.1|km|mi|abbr=on}} long river in the Loire-Atlantique and Ille-et-Vilaine départements, northwestern France.{{Sandre|id=J78-0300|nom=Chère}} Its source is at Soudan. It flows generally west. It is a left tributary of the Vilaine into which it flows between Pierric and Sainte-Anne-sur-Vilaine.
