Chandos Clifford Hastings Mansel Morgan, {{Post-nominals|country=GBR|CB|size=100%|sep=,}} (12 August 1920 – 1 January 1993) was a Church of England priest and military chaplain. Early life

Morgan was born on 12 August 1920. He was educated at Stowe School, then an all-boys private school in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. He studied at Jesus College, Cambridge."Who was Who" 1897–2007 London, A & C Black, 2007 {{ISBN|978-0-19-954087-7}}

Ordained ministry

Morgan was ordained in 1944.Crockford's Clerical Directory 1947-48 Oxford, OUP, 1941 After a curacy at Holy Trinity, Tunbridge Wells{{Cite web |url=http://www.christchurchtunbridgewells.org/ |title=Church web site |access-date=1 August 2011 |archive-date=6 May 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210506190033/http://www.christchurchtunbridgewells.org/ |url-status=dead }} he became a Naval Chaplain and served on (amongst others) HMS Pembroke, HMS Theseus, HMS Caledonia, HMS Ark Royal and HMS Collingwood before becoming head of the service as Chaplain of the Fleet.

On his retirement from the Royal Navy he was appointed chaplain of Dean Close School, Cheltenham, and subsequently Rector of St Margaret Lothbury by the Simeon Trust.

He died on 1 January 1993.
