Life
He graduated from Princeton University with an AB in Astrophysical Sciences, and from California Institute of Technology with a PhD in Astronomy, in 1990.{{Cite web | title=cv09.dvi | url=http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~ccs/cv_2009.pdf | access-date=2024-12-15 | website=www.astro.caltech.edu}}
