Charley Stone is an English multi-instrumentalist musician based in London, UK. History
Charley Stone first came to notice in short-lived riot grrrl band Frantic Spiders, from Exeter, who released EP You're Dead in 1993;{{cite web|url=http://www.nepasavaler.net/discs/early/headless.php|title=ne pas a.v.a.l.e.r. : hometown atrocities|work=nepasavaler.net|accessdate=20 August 2015}} she also played in Toxic Shock Syndrome. Stone then joined Britpop band Salad{{cite news|url=https://www.theguardian.com/music/2014/apr/24/britpop-bluetones-dodgy-salad-marion-menswear-indie-90s|title=Britpop casualties: 'It felt like we crashed someone else's party'|author=Paul Lester|work=The Guardian|date=24 April 2014 |accessdate=20 August 2015}} in 1996. In 1997 she replaced Charlotte Hatherley on guitar in the band Nightnurse{{cite web|url=http://www.pennyblackmusic.co.uk/MagSitePages/Article/4457/Charlotte-Hatherley-Borderline-London-24/10/2007|title=Charlotte Hatherley – Borderline, London, 24/10/2007|work=pennyblackmusic.co.uk|accessdate=20 August 2015}} after Hatherley left to join Ash.
