The Chinese Temples Committee ({{zh|t=華人廟宇委員會}}) is a statutory body in Hong Kong established in 1928 under the Chinese Temples Ordinance ({{zh|t=華人廟宇條例|labels=no}}) (Cap. 153).[http://www.legco.gov.hk/yr01-02/english/panels/ha/papers/ha0614cb2-2250-4e.pdf Legislative Council Panel on Home Affairs Operation and Supervision of the Chinese Temples Committee, 14 June 2002] It is mainly responsible for the operation and management of twenty-four temples directly under its management. Organisation

The committee is chaired by the Secretary for Home Affairs. It consists of eight persons, including the chairman of the board of directors of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and six persons appointed by the Secretary for Home Affairs through delegated authority by the Chief Executive.{{Cite Hong Kong ordinance|name=Chinese Temples Ordinance|153|7|2}}
