The Chinese motorcycle Grand Prix was a motorcycling event that was part of the World Motorcycle Racing season, from 2005 until 2008.
History
The Chinese Grand Prix was scheduled to run until 2011, but a low amount of spectator attendance, poor promotion and a lack of commercial interest caused the race to be scrapped from the 2009 calendar onwards.{{cite web|url=https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/77451/1/china-not-close-to-breaking-even|title=China 'not close' to breaking even.|date=17 May 2006|publisher=}}{{cite web|url=https://www.motorcyclenews.com/sport/motogp/2008/may/may0608motogpchinaaxesaddensvalentinorossiandcaseystoner/|title=MotoGP: China axe saddens Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner|publisher=}}
