Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur ({{zh|吉隆坡中华独立中学}}, {{langx|ms|Sekolah Menengah Persendirian Chong Hwa Kuala Lumpur}}, often abbreviated as CHKL) is one of Malaysia's oldest co-educational high schools.
Established in 1919 in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, the school was a primary school. It became a high school when the school board purchased a piece of land of 24,000 square metres along Jalan Ipoh and decided to build the high school there. It has remained there ever since.
In 2017, the school began planning to establish a branch campus, and in June 2024 the plan was greenlit by all relevant authorities including the Ministry of Education and the Shah Alam City Council.{{Cite web |last=Lee |first=Jia Hui |date=2024-06-14 |title=独家 {{!}} 隆中华分校坐落艾美娜 今年动土料2027竣工 - 国内 - 教育 |url=https://www.sinchew.com.my/news/20240614/nation/5683163 |access-date=2025-03-30 |website=Sin Chew Daily |language=zh-my}} The new campus is located in Elmina, Shah Alam, Selangor, on a plot of land of 10,000 square meters donated by Sime Darby Property.{{Cite web |last=Pan |first=Fu Wei |date=2024-11-14 |title=隆中华艾美娜分校今日动土 获雪州政府豁免逾560万令吉 |url=https://www.chonghwakl.edu.my/2024/11/14/202401114-chklelminadongtuli-news/ |access-date=2025-03-30 |website=Chong Hwa Independent High School |language=zh-my}}{{Cite web |last=Guo |first=Zhen Li |date=2024-07-15 |title=隆中华艾美娜分校近期动工 首期工程 3年内竣工{{!}}中國報 |url=https://kl.chinapress.com.my/20240715/%E9%9A%86%E4%B8%AD%E5%8D%8E%E8%89%BE%E7%BE%8E%E5%A8%9C%E5%88%86%E6%A0%A1%E8%BF%91%E6%9C%9F%E5%8A%A8%E5%B7%A5-%E9%A6%96%E6%9C%9F%E5%B7%A5%E7%A8%8B-3%E5%B9%B4%E5%86%85%E7%AB%A3%E5%B7%A5/ |access-date=2025-03-30 |website=China Press |language=zh-my}} The campus will undergo three phrases of construction with the first phrase due to complete in 2027.
