Chris Tibbs (born April 8, 1977) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly in the 2019 provincial election.[https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/defeated-incumbents-1.5139759 "Cabinet ministers Letto and Hawkins among 9 defeated Liberals"]. CBC News Newfoundland and Labrador, May 17, 2019. He represents the electoral district of Grand Falls-Windsor-Buchans as a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Progressive Conservative Party. As of September 29, 2024, Tibbs serves as the Official Opposition critic for Municipal and Provincial Affairs, Registrar General, and Fire and Emergency Services.

Prior to politics, Tibbs worked as a paramedic. Since the mid-2000s, he has worked in the oil and gas sector.
