Christian Ulrik Gyldenløve

Christian Ulrik Gyldenløve (3 February 1611 – 6 October 1640) was a Danish diplomat and military officer. He was one of three acknowledged illegitimate sons of Christian IV of Denmark—the only one by Kirsten Madsdatter.{{Cite journal|url=http://www.jstor.org/stable/40919441|title=Denmark and the Empire: A Reassessment of Danish Foreign Policy under King Christian IV|author=Lockhart, Paul Douglas|year=1992|journal=Scandinavian Studies|volume=64|issue=3|page=404}} He died in a fight with troops from the Netherlands at the churchyard of Meinerzhagen and was buried in Wesel.
