Chromulinales is an order of Chrysophyceae, golden-brown algae or golden algae.{{cite web |url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Tree&id=2825&lvl=2 |title=www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov |format= |accessdate=2009-06-13}} It was first identified and defined by Adolf Pascher (1881–1945) in 1910.
