It has a post office with the 36521 ZIP code. Geography
Chunchula is located in northern Mobile County at {{coord|30.92185|-88.20055|display=inline,title}} and has an elevation of {{convert|121|ft|m|0}}. U.S. Route 45 passes through the community, leading south {{convert|20|mi}} to Mobile and north {{convert|12|mi}} to Citronelle.
