Chytrium or Chytrion (Χυτριόν),{{Cite Strabo|p. 644}} or Chytrum or Chytron (Χυτρόν),Aristotle, Politics 5.3. also known as Chytum or Chyton (Χυτόν){{Cite Stephanus|s.v.}} was a town of ancient Ionia. Strabo claims that it was here that the city of Clazomenae was initially founded.
