Cirrhilabrus brunneus or the dusky fairy wrasse{{Cite web|url=https://www.uniprot.org/taxonomy/1671141|title=Cirrhilabrus brunneus (dusky fairy wrasse)|website=www.uniprot.org|access-date=2019-07-14}} is a species of fairy wrasse native to the coasts off Borneo. Description
The fish can grow to a length of 4.4 centimeters. It has 11 dorsal spines, nine dorsal soft rays, 3 anal spines, and 9 anal soft rays.{{Cite web|url=https://www.fishbase.us/summary/Cirrhilabrus-brunneus.html|title=Cirrhilabrus brunneus summary page|website=FishBase|language=en|access-date=2019-07-14}} Males are brown or bronze. The fish also has 15 pectoral rays and two horizontal scale rows are present under the eyes.
