Clason Prairie, Wisconsin

Clason Prairie or Clason's Prairie was a former settlement in the Town of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, United States, roughly four miles southeast of Beaver Dam. It was named after James Clason,{{cite book|title=The History of Dodge County, Wisconsin: Containing ... Its Early Settlement, Growth|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=1wwrAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA387|year=1880|publisher=Western historical Company|pages=387}} a native of Connecticut who settled there in 1841 and died in 1848.
