Style of work
Baclawski's installations are film image fragments stuffed inside polycarbonate tubes, which are then placed on mirrored Plexiglas and back-lit by LED lights.{{Cite news|url=https://philzminda.com/2018/10/02/boston-art-review-clint-baclawski-images-an-ad-less-america-in-flashing-lights/|title=Clint Baclawski Images an Ad-Less America in Flashing Lights|last=Zminda|first=Phil|date=2018-08-02|work=Boston Art Review|access-date=2018-12-14}}{{Cite news|url=https://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/2019/09/11/with-new-show-boston-artist-clint-baclawski-invites-viewers-closer-for-full-story/aZJ0sIPeuI96yR829PXekJ/story.html|title=The myth of the west, and its murky construction|last=McQuaid|first=Cate|date=2014-01-22|work=Boston Globe}} The Boston Art Review noted how Baclawski's work connects to his undergraduate degree in advertising photography especially the use of "back-lit imagery" to convey glamour to rural photographs. In 2018, Frame Magazine wrote that he "works with light, imagery, and installation, pushing the boundaries of the traditional photographic frame."
Cate McQuaid of the Boston Globe Said of his solo show “Fringe” that "Baclawski models the enchantments and perils of desire. From afar, an object of yearning — a lover, salvation, relief from pain — floods the imagination with its perfections.{{Cite web|url=https://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/2019/09/11/with-new-show-boston-artist-clint-baclawski-invites-viewers-closer-for-full-story/aZJ0sIPeuI96yR829PXekJ/story.html|title=With a new show, Boston artist Clint Baclawski invites viewers closer for the full story - The Boston Globe|website=BostonGlobe.com|language=en-US|access-date=2019-10-07}}
