The Cobweb Bridge, also known as Spider Bridge, is located in the city centre of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, near the disused Sheffield Victoria railway station. Completed in 2002, its design solves a difficult problem: passing the riverside cycle- and footpath (the Five Weirs Walk) under the massive Wicker Arches viaduct while linking one bank of the River Don to the other. Without the Cobweb Bridge, the footpath would have had to make a one-mile detour.{{cite web|title=Cobweb Bridge, Sheffield UK|url=http://www.cintec.co.uk/en/casehist/bridges/bridge08.htm|publisher=cintec.co.uk|accessdate=17 February 2014|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120613221604/http://www.cintec.co.uk/en/casehist/bridges/bridge08.htm|archive-date=13 June 2012|url-status=dead}}{{cite web|title=Completed Cobweb Bridge showing the spider covered lights|url=https://www.europeana.eu/portal/record/2022302/C55B9CC78CAD2F88E6E0F2F7532A691CB270423E.html|publisher=europeana.eu|accessdate=17 February 2014}}{{cite web|title=Cobweb bridge makes website|url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/southyorkshire/content/articles/2004/10/01/culture_cobweb_bridge_feature.shtml|publisher=bbc.co.uk|accessdate=17 February 2014}}

Designed by Sheffield City Council's Structures Section, the entire {{convert|100|m|adj=on|order=flip}} long bridge is suspended on a web of steel cables secured to the underside of the viaduct, hence the name. Completing the theme, large steel likenesses of spiders conceal the overhead lighting.

While the bridge has been prone to vandalism in the past (the wires forming the parapet having been stolen more than once), the bridge was repaired in 2015 to reduce the risk of future vandalism.{{cite web|title=Sheffield City Council - Cycle Schemes|url=https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/SCC-Home/roads/works/schemes/cycle-schemes|publisher=Sheffield City Council|accessdate=19 April 2015|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150427124736/https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/SCC-Home/roads/works/schemes/cycle-schemes|archive-date=27 April 2015|url-status=dead}} The newly restored bridge no longer uses wires in the parapet, having been replaced with metal plates with spiderweb designs.
