The Colored Catholic Congress movement was a series of meetings organized by Daniel Rudd in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for African-American Catholics to discuss issues affecting their communities, churches, and other institutions.
Part of the Colored Conventions Movement, the congresses ran from 1889 to 1894, before folding for unknown reasons.{{Cite web|last=Howlett|first=Rick|date=2020-10-31|title=Archdiocese of Louisville To Honor Black Catholic Pioneer Daniel Rudd|url=https://wfpl.org/archdiocese-of-louisville-to-honor-black-catholic-pioneer-daniel-rudd/|access-date=2021-10-14|website=89.3 WFPL News Louisville|language=en-US}}{{Cite journal|last=Spalding|first=David|date=1969|title=The Negro Catholic Congresses, 1889-1894|url=https://www.jstor.org/stable/25018469|journal=The Catholic Historical Review|volume=55|issue=3|pages=337–357|issn=0008-8080}}
