Conesville is a city in Muscatine County, Iowa, United States. History
Conesville was once a depot on the Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway. The population density was 981.8 inhabitants per square mile (379.1/km2). There were 147 housing units at an average density of 410.0 per square mile (158.3/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 51.7% White, 4.3% Black or African American, 0.0% Native American, 3.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 30.4% from other races and 10.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino persons of any race comprised 54.0% of the population.
Of the 135 households, 34.8% of which had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.5% were married couples living together, 11.9% were cohabitating couples, 20.7% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present and 25.9% had a male householder with no spouse or partner present. 32.6% of all households were non-families. 22.2% of all households were made up of individuals, 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older.
The median age in the city was 38.0 years. 23.6% of the residents were under the age of 20; 7.1% were between the ages of 20 and 24; 31.0% were from 25 and 44; 24.1% were from 45 and 64; and 14.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 52.3% male and 47.7% female.

The racial makeup of the city was 57.6% White, 0.7% African American, 1.6% Asian, 38.2% from other races, and 1.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 63.0% of the population.
There were 132 households, of which 52.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 15.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 13.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 20.5% were non-families. 15.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the city was 78.77% White, 0.24% Asian, 20.28% from other races, and 0.71% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 58.96% of the population.
There were 133 households, out of which 42.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.1% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
