Copley, Ohio

Variant names were Greenfield and Copley Center.{{GNIS|1056837}} The first settlement at Copley Center was made around 1819.{{cite book|last=Perrin|first=William Henry|title=History of Summit County: With an Outline Sketch of Ohio|url=https://archive.org/details/historyofsummitc00perr|year=1881|publisher=Baskin & Battey|page=[https://archive.org/details/historyofsummitc00perr/page/645 645]}} The community was named for its location near the geographical center of Copley Township.
