The Corvedale Three Castles Walk{{cite web|title=Shropshire's Great Outdoors|url=http://www.shropshiresgreatoutdoors.co.uk/route/the-corvdale-three-castles-walk/}} is a waymarked recreational circular walk of about {{convert|11.5|mi|km}} located in the Corvedale, Shropshire, England. The walk is classed as Easy and Heritage by the Long Distance Walkers Association.{{cite web|title=Corvedale Three Castles Walk 18 km / 11 miles|url=https://www.ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Corvedale+Three+Castles+Walk|publisher=The Long Distance Walkers Association|accessdate=29 May 2016}} The walk nominally starts (and ends) at the public car park opposite the Swan Inn in Aston Munslow, but other starting points are possible although parking is limited. The walk goes past Broncroft Castle {{nowrap|({{coord|52.476422|-2.672107|type:landmark_region:GB|display=inline|name=Broncroft Castle}}),}} Corfham Castle (earthworks) {{nowrap|({{coord|52.460758|-2.700383|type:landmark_region:GB|display=inline|name=Corfham Castle}}),}} and Corfton Castle (earthworks) {{nowrap|({{coord|52.458237| -2.740205|type:landmark_region:GB|display=inline|name=Corfton Castle}})}}. A leaflet is available detailing the walk and can be obtained from some local pubs and retailers. Some bed and breakfasts also have it available. In addition there is a book Castle and Corvedale{{cite book|last1=Oliver|first1=Marina|title=Castles and Corvedale|date=2006|publisher=Tudor House|isbn=0-9530676-4-5}} available from the same sources.
Hostelries on the route
There are two pubs, both of which serve food, on the route:
- The Swan Inn{{cite web|title=The Swan Inn|url=http://www.theswaninnastonmunslow.co.uk}} at the start of the walk (and, of course, the end if the complete circuit is done)
- The Tally Ho Inn{{cite web|title=The Tally Ho Inn|url=http://www.thetallyho.co.uk/}} about 40% round the route (in a clockwise direction)
Wildlife
The Corvedale has many hedgerows as well as wooded areas and coppices, so walkers can see much wildlife if they are observant. The signature species for the Corvedale is the Common Buzzard (the local bus is called The Buzzard).{{cite web|title=The New Buzzard and the Ludlow Traveller|url=http://www.2shrop.net/2shropnet/AToZOfMini-sites/D/DiddleburyParishCouncil/Services/TheBuzzard|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160603184832/http://www.2shrop.net/2shropnet/AToZOfMini-sites/D/DiddleburyParishCouncil/Services/TheBuzzard|url-status=usurped|archive-date=3 June 2016}}. However Red Kites are also becoming quite common.
