Cosmah (April 4, 1953 – 1979) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. While not known for her racing career, she is well known for being the dam of Tosmah and Halo, both of whom were top level race winners.
Racing career
Cosmah won the 1955 Astarita Stakes, her lone black-type win, due to the disqualification of another horse named Dark Vintage.{{cite web|title=The tale of a remarkable mother and her remarkable daughter|url=https://www.thoroughbredracing.com/articles/tale-remarkable-mother-and-her-remarkable-daughter/|website=Thoroughbredracing.com|accessdate=30 March 2019|language=en}}{{Cite web |title=Cosmah (horse) |url=https://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/cosmah.html |access-date=2025-03-08 |website=American Classic Pedigrees |language=en}}
