Country Mice (formerly We Are Country Mice) is an indie-rock band formed in Brooklyn, NY in 2008. The band released its debut album, Twister, on Wao Wao Records, an imprint of Kanine Records in 2011.{{Cite web|url=https://www.allmusic.com/artist/country-mice-mn0002676874|title=Country Mice | Biography & History|website=AllMusic}} Twister received positive reviews, including an 8/10 rating from Spin Magazine,{{Cite web|url=https://www.spin.com/2011/05/country-mice-twister-wao-wao/|title=Country Mice, 'Twister' (Wao Wao)|date=May 3, 2011|website=Spin}} and was supported with extensive touring.
