The duo, consisting of Rafaele "Crash" Massarelli and Vince "Adams" Sasso, began making music together in the 2020s, but struggled to get attention until hitting on a social media strategy that involved transporting Massarelli's grandmother's red couch to unexpected locations to create short TikTok videos.Lisa Power, [https://www.blogto.com/music/2020/07/someone-just-put-sofa-middle-downtown-toronto-street/ "Someone just put a sofa in the middle of a downtown Toronto street"].
