Creighton Michael (born 1949) is an American abstract artist.{{cite web |last1=Schwendenwien |first1=Jude |title=Creighton Michael |url=https://www.artforum.com/events/creighton-michael-220832 |website=ArtForum, January 1989.|date=January 1989 }} He earned his B.F.A. in painting from the University of Tennessee, his M.A. in art history from Vanderbilt University, and later received an M.F.A. in painting and multimedia from Washington University in St. Louis.

Michael has been on the faculty at Rhode Island School of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and Hunter College in New York City.
