Biography
Her best result at International level was the 5th place at the 1977 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, competition when she won also three important medals with the team,{{cite web|url=http://www.sportolimpico.it/dmdocuments/MEDAGLIE-D-1908-2008.pdf|title=PODIO INTERNAZIONALE DAL 1908 AL 2008 - DONNE|publisher=sportolimpico.it|accessdate=22 August 2017}} while at European level her best result was the victory at IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Formia in 1982.{{cite web|url=http://www.european-athletics.org/files/fanzone/european_champions_clubs_cup.pdf|title=European Champions Clubs Cross Country Cup|publisher=european-athletics.org|accessdate=22 August 2017}} She won four times the national championships at senior level.
