Cymbaria is a genus of flowering plants in the broomrape family Orobanchaceae, native to Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Siberia, the Altai, Mongolia, northern China and Manchuria. They are hemiparasites of other plants, obtaining nutrients through haustoria which attach to the roots of the hosts, and doing some photosynthesis on their own.{{cite journal |doi=10.3732/ajb.93.7.1039 |title=Phylogeny of the parasitic plant family Orobanchaceae inferred from phytochrome A |year=2006 |last1=Bennett |first1=Jonathan R. |last2=Mathews |first2=Sarah |journal=American Journal of Botany |volume=93 |issue=7 |pages=1039–1051 |pmid=21642169 |url=https://digitalcommons.lsu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=3656&context=biosci_pubs |url-access=subscription }}
