The {{nihongo|Daihatsu Move Conte|ダイハツ・ムーヴコンテ|Daihatsu Mūvu Konte|lead=yes}} is a kei car built by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu from 2008 to 2016 (with sales ending in March 2017). It was a more angular cosmetic variation of the L175 series Move, which had moved away from the boxy look for its fourth generation. The name "Conte" is derived from the word "container", referring its boxy shape. The name also means "with you" in Italian. The Move Conte was also available in the somewhat sportier looking Custom model, with headlights incorporating an oveerlapping, round element.
It had two engine options: a naturally-aspirated 658 cc KF-VE and a turbocharged 658 cc KF-DET three-cylinder petrol engines that produce {{cvt|52|PS|kW|0}} and {{cvt|64|PS|kW|0}} respectively.{{cite web | url = http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=131335 |archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20090215013457/http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=131335 | archive-date = 2009-02-15 | publisher = Edmunds Inc. | work = Edmunds Inside Line | title = Move Over, Nissan Cube: Daihatsu Introduces Move Conte Minicar in Japan | first = Mike | last = Lysaght | date = 2008-08-27 }} In June 2011, the Move Conte received a light facelift including new grilles and some minor interior changes. The naturally aspirated engine was also updated to the next generation KF engine, including the addition of Daihatsu's "Eco Idle" start-stop system.
In September 2011, a Toyota-badged version of the Move Conte, the {{nihongo|Toyota Pixis Space|トヨタ・ピクシススペース|Toyota Pikushisu Supēsu|lead=yes}}, was launched.{{Cite web|url=https://www.motor1.com/news/28135/toyota-pixis-space-unveiled-for-japan/|title=Toyota Pixis Space unveiled for Japan}} The Move Conte, along with the Pixis Space, were both discontinued in March 2017. The Move Canbus replaced the Move Conte, while the Pixis Space was later replaced by the Pixis Joy.
There also was a special edition version of the Move Conte featuring Daihatsu mascot Kakukaku Shikajika, who was used in advertising for the car at the time.{{Cite web |date=2010-05-06 |title=ダイハツ ムーヴコンテ にカクカク・シカジカ特別仕様 |url=https://s.response.jp/article/2010/05/06/140022.html |access-date=2024-11-04 |website=レスポンス(Response.jp) |language=ja}}
