The {{nihongo|Daihatsu Pyzar|Japanese: ダイハツ・パイザー|Daihatsu Paizā}}, sold in some export markets as the Daihatsu Gran Move, is a mini MPV which was manufactured by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu from 1996 to 2002. It is based on the chassis of the G200 series Charade.{{cite web|title=Daihatsu Grand Move (1997 - 2000)|url=http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/daihatsu/grand-move-1997/|website=Honest John|accessdate=11 February 2015|date=22 October 2014}} The name "Pyzar" is derived from the Mongolian-era Silk Road traffic permit, "Paizah".{{Cite web |url=https://www.daihatsu.com/company/dataook2020_e.pdf |title= Company Profile Data Book 2020 |publisher= Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. | page = 20 | location = Osaka, Japan | date = June 2020 |archive-date=2021-02-22 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210222024348/https://www.daihatsu.com/company/dataook2020_e.pdf |url-status=dead }}

The Pyzar has a 50/50 split folding rear bench seat, which provided for it being registered as a four-passenger vehicle in most countries. With the rear seat folded, the Pyzar's cargo compartment has a length of {{convert|1500|mm|in|1|abbr=on}}.{{cn|date=May 2019}}

Mid-life facelift

After three years in the market, the Pyzar received a mild facelift; the front fascia was slightly altered (the headlamps had clear turn signals) and body decals were rearranged to more in-line with the smaller L600 series Move's styling. Concurrently, a version with the 1.6 L engine replaced the previous 1.5 L one in export markets, except for the Japanese market, where both engines were sold together until the end of the sales in August 2002.{{Cite web|url=https://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/daihatsu/pyzar_gran_move/pyzar_gran_move_series_ii/2002.html|title=2002 Daihatsu Pyzar phase-II all versions specifications and performance data|website=www.automobile-catalog.com}}
