Daniel Clews (born 21 March 1980) is a British-born singer-songwriter from Sevenoaks, Kent, England.

Musical career

Clews spent years on the UK's live circuit before moving to Sweden and beginning collaborations with local artists which resulted in two releases with his backing band The Stars Above, one of which helped Clews secure a publishing deal with George Martin Music.

Clews's first solo album, Dan Clews, was released on 15 December 2009. Between 2009 and 2010 Clews recorded over 20 sessions for BBC and commercial radio stations and appeared on the Bob Harris Radio 2 show broadcast 10 July 2010.{{cite web|url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00t0bzl|title=Dan Clews Session, Bob Harris Sunday - BBC Radio 2|website=BBC|accessdate=24 October 2017}}

2012 Clews toured as main support for Level 42 playing many of the UK most prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Liverpool Philharmonic. In the same year he realised his 2nd Album "Tourist In My Own Backyard" to critical acclaim and a subsequent invite to re-appear on Bob Harris' BBC Radio 2 show.

In 2013 Clews founded "We teach Music", which provides private tuition and music workshops in Kent and still support young musicians with their journey into music to date running over 250 lessons a week.

In 2017 Dan Clews released his third album "While Middle England Mows Its Lawn" reviewed in Mojo as 4 stars and cited as "his best yet"

In the same year Clews formed Night Owl Shows. Night Owl Shows deliver productions depicting the stories and musical legacies of the world's most influential artists. Night Owl Shows has gone on to become a multiple award-winning group with worldwide critical acclaim that has delivered converted performances at Edinburgh Fringe (Scotland), Perth Fringe (Australia), Brighton Fringe (England) Adelaide Fringe (Australia) and Bear Valley Music Festival (California) as well as numerous tours throughout Europe, the UK and the US.
