Daniel P. McKiernan is an American politician and lawyer who represented the 7th district in the Rhode Island House of Representatives from 2015 to 2021. Career

McKiernan was first elected to the state house in 2014. He was elected by primarying incumbent representative Maria Cimini with support from house speaker Nicholas Mattiello, who supported McKiernan because Cimini did not support Mattiello's bid to become house speaker.{{cite web|url=https://www.providencejournal.com/article/20140720/NEWS/307209990|title=Political Scene: Ex-GOP Rep. McKiernan lost the primary to Morales, getting 28% of the vote to Morales' 49%, with Subervi getting 23%.
