Daniele Daino (born 8 September 1979) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Career

He played for AC Milan, Napoli, Perugia, Ancona and Bologna in Italy.

In 2001, he was signed on loan by English side Derby County,{{Cite web|url=https://www.theguardian.com/football/2001/oct/11/match.sport|title=Fulham 5 - 2 Derby County|website=TheGuardian.com |date=11 October 2001}} facing competition from Benfica and Alavés{{Cite web|url=https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/derby-county/3009567/Round-up-Defender-Daino-is-Derby-target.html|title=Round-up: Defender Daino is Derby target|date=26 July 2001 }} but made only two league appearances in the first two matches of the season.
