Danielle Dean (born 1982) is a British-American visual artist. She works in drawing, installation, performance and video. Early life and education
Dean took a BA in fine arts from Central Saint Martins in London in 2006, and completed an MFA at the California Institute of the Arts in 2012.{{Cite web|url=https://www.studiomuseum.org/exhibition/focus-danielle-dean|title=Focus {{!}} The Studio Museum in Harlem|website=www.studiomuseum.org|language=en-US|access-date=2017-03-12}} In 2012 she was an artist-in-residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine, and in 2013 was part of the independent study program of the Whitney Museum of Art in New York City; between 2014 and 2016 she was an artist-in-residence at the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston, Texas.{{r|studio}}
Work
