Daniel James Walton (July 14, 1947 – August 9, 2017) was an American Major League Baseball outfielder. Walton attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School, and was selected in the 10th round (192nd overall) of the 1965 MLB draft by the Houston Astros.{{Cite web |title=10th Round of the 1965 MLB June Amateur Draft |url=https://www.baseball-reference.com/draft/?year_ID=1965&draft_round=10&draft_type=junreg&query_type=year_round |access-date=March 15, 2023 |website=Baseball-Reference.com |language=en}} He played for the Houston Astros (1968 and 1977), Seattle Pilots / Milwaukee Brewers (1969–71), New York Yankees (1971), Minnesota Twins (1973 and 1975), Los Angeles Dodgers (1976), Yokohama Taiyo Whales (1978), and Texas Rangers (1980).
