Darboux Island

Darboux Island ({{Coord|65|25|S|64|15|W|source:GNIS|display=inline,title}}) is an island {{convert|1|nmi|km|0}} long rising to {{convert|270|m|-2}}, lying {{convert|3|nmi|km|0}} west of Cape Perez off the west coast of Graham Land. It was discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05, and named by Jean-Baptiste Charcot for Jean Gaston Darboux, the noted French mathematician.
