Darlia were an English rock band from Blackpool. History
The band was formed in 2013 in Blackpool by former schoolmates Nathan Day and Jack Bentham, along with Dave Williams. They signed with B-Unique recordings and released three EPs between 2013 and 2015. Petals, an eight track mini-album, was released in 2015, charting at number 79 in the UK.{{cite web|url=http://www.officialcharts.com/artist/30904/DARLIA/|title=DARLIA | full Official Chart History |website=Officialcharts.com|access-date=28 July 2016}} The band have toured supporting Gerard Way, Nothing But Thieves and The Wombats, played Glastonbury Festival and Reading Festival, as well as being part of the NME Awards Tour 2015.{{cite web|url=https://www.nme.com/awards/tickets|title=NME Awards Tickets |website=Nme.com|access-date=28 July 2016}} Their first full LP was expected to be released in 2016.
In 2017, frontman Nathan Day released a satirical NME article that suggested the band had been taking a break.
In 2019, Day launched a solo career stating that ".“Being in a band taught me what I wanted to do. It made me realize I had to do this for myself, because I just wanted to get as much music outas possible".https://www.spacethang.com/
