Daron Payne ({{IPAc-en|d|ə|ˈ|r|ɒ|n}} {{respell|də|RON}}; born May 27, 1997) is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he won national championships in 2015 and 2017. Payne was selected by Washington in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft.
Early life
Payne was born on May 27, 1997, in Birmingham, Alabama.
